So, I have decided that this is a good media to blog in without feeling like a blogger. I dislike blogs about day to day activities and the ins and outs of emotional equilibrium. My life ain't that interesting and neither is yours. What I do like are blogs which focus on a specific subject or two and analyze them in the context of the blogger's opinions and experiences.
I guess this is where I come clean and tell you what to expect. I will be blogging about three things which reside very close to my heart: Art, Prose and Politics. It will be colloquial and often times tongue-in-cheek. It might even be argumentative and inflammatory. I do, however, hope to keep it well written and coherent.
The final part of my preface entry is to tell you a little bit about myself. I am a 23 year old soon to be recent-college-graduate, formerly of Albany, New York and Cleveland, Ohio. My undergraduate focus was Art History and Pre-Architecture with a smattering of Civil Engineering. This summer I will be back in Albany for a short stay with my parents. September brings me to Tel Aviv, Israel working in an architecture firm (TBD, still in negations/applications) and on a BLS emergent ambulance. Upon my return from the Holy Land I plan on enrolling in a Masters of Architecture program, probably in Boston or Chicago. I am a liberal, the child of reformed Hippie Parents (now a Doctor and a Librarian) but I find myself coming down to the right of some issues, especially in the realm of Foreign Policy.
This is a long winded introduction. I promise a post with some substance will be forthcoming shortly. I know you all can't wait to hear my opinions.
Later On SG Land!
