It's been a while since I've updated this thing. I decided to crack down and actually keep this as a real journal. Try, at least.
I cut all my hair off. I cut it in 2 steps: step 1 was to cut enough to allow me to donate it so it could be used to make wigs for cancer patients. A place called Locks For Love is gonna make it. Actually pretty excited to see how it turns out.
My buddy Ian is making the big move finally. I can imagine moving from Claremont, CA to Mobile, AL is going to be a huge culture shock for him, but we're gonna have a hella good time. My roommate and I have enough parties as it is. I can't begin to imagine what it'll be like in a few weeks.
I'm not sure if I like having short hair yet, but I'm gonna give it some time. I've had long hair for going on 9 years. I definitely needed a change in my life.
The band has actually been working hard at accomplishing something, much to my surprise. Joseph and I have written 3 songs, 3 GOOD songs, and we're working on a few sketch others. Been working on the covers a bit too, but Killswitch Engage and related metal can only go over so well in Lower Alabama.
Well, that's the general breakdown of the past 6 months. I need to get back into the groove of writing on here.
