(one.) Fucking hell! This is the third time I'm typing this whole post. The first time I accidentally clicked "Update" again (when I meant to hit "Save Entry"... it made sense at the time). The second time I accidentally closed the tab I was writing it in. This is the last time! If I don't get through it this time successfully you'll never see it.
(two.) Work helped me feel better today. jSnaz was cheerful and exciting and I had a pretty decent day. (I still feel kind of weird/lost inside though right now...) I like it that my job makes me feel better instead of just sucking the life out of me.
(three.) I went downtown with uncommoncold yesterday to pick up a postcard or two to send in my little "mailing game". She also bought a pretty stylish hat. While we were downtown we went through China town, and I've discovered just how awesome it is to buy your vegetables there. I came back later in the day and bought so many groceries for just fifteen dollars.
(four.) Unfortunately there were a few things I still needed to go to the regular grocery store for. And unfortunately my credit card is completely maxed out right now (greenpeace took my last couple of dollars; I give monthly). It became an embarassing mess when it was time to pay for my groceries... ending in me sorting through all my bags for just a few things I had change for. I hate not being able to afford everything I want... (story of my life...)
(five.) I have chores that I've been meaning to do for a few days. Just need to clean a few things up and get the house back in order. I've been procrastinating so badly. I suppose retyping this entry three times is a pretty solid waste of time. (I was going to take some time to play some DDR for a little bit, but I'd rather just go to bed now...)
(six.) I'm getting a wicked paycheck tomorrow. It is officially the biggest paycheck I've gotten (or will be getting) in quite some time. Naturally, the majority of it is already designated for rent. And then there are a million bills that I've just been ignoring completely for almost a month now. With my knowledge of china town groceries though, I'm confident that I'll make it through with enough cash left over to at least buy a ticket to a coming show.
(seven.) Speaking of wicked shows...
- Saturday, September 3rd : Ted Leo and the Pharmacists w/ Ghosts [@ Sugar]
- Thursday, September 22nd : The New Pornographers w/ Destroyer & Immaculate Machine [@ Sugar]
- Friday, September 23rd : Wolf Parade, Dante Decaro, The Paper Cranes [@ Lucky] (Whorey cow! I can't stress how excited I am about this one...)
- Tuesday, October 4th : Feist (Calgary) w/ New Buffalo (Australia) & Jason Collett [@ Sugar] (Ps - I really don't know any of these bands, but uncommoncold has assured me that Feist is awesome and that's pretty much all you need to tell me to get me out.)
- some point in the future : Paper Moon [@ TBA] (One could hope...)
(eight.) I'll start another LiveJournal when the bastard who owns (but isn't using) the name "Hipples" gives it up to me. (Or if that plan doesn't work, I'll just come up with something new...)
Pressing "save entry"... hoping nothing fucks up...

We did have some fun shenanigans (and the only thing missing from yours was the "e" at the beginning). I forgot to mention in the entry that we went out to look at this old church in St. Norbert and NJ took some photos of a shrine/chapel. Also, we drove out to these Trappist monastery ruins, but there was some dude in a truck just sitting there, so we didn't stick around. It was too dark to see anything anyway...
Maybe they're posted in your pics already? i will go and check.
