Last night we had the going away party for my boss. It was Lotus Pond followed by hanging out at a little park downtown. I enjoyed everyones company a lot (I work with the coolest people in the world). Also, I found out that after work on Friday, I was officially meeting my quota! All I have to do now is keep up the good work till Wednesday, and I'll be doing great!
"j-Snaz" has gone over to Vancouver for a few days. She has my camera. My camera is pretty much the most expensive thing I own, so I feel all oogly-inside with it being so far away from me. But she said she'd take good care of it, and I trust her.
I want a powerbook (15inch/superdrive) or an iBook (14inch) and I'm willing to do just about anything to get one. Anything! Saving up (the most obvious solution) is going to take too long... I'd sell some of my valuables, but nothing I own is really worth much right now. (My computer might get me 300 at best... playstation and all my games can't be more than 50... and the camera is more than a year and a half old now, so it wouldn't be worth even close to what I paid for it new.)
As I've likely mentioned, my roommate has been out of town all summer (planting trees up north), but he's still been paying rent. He mentioned a few weeks ago that his little sister and her boyfriend were going to be in Victoria and they needed a place to stay. He's told me before that he's not particularly fond of this "boyfriend", so I'm kind of uncertain about them both using our apartment as accomodation. But hey, he's still paying rent, so it's definitely not my place to say no. Someone should be getting use out of his room this summer.
However, that makes today cleaning day. Yesterday was supposed to be cleaning day but I got lazy and fell asleep all afternoon. I want this place spotless again in the event that I do have guests. (Plus, a clean home is a happy home, or something...)
I finished reading "The Prisoner of Azkahban" last night. What a set of twists! Once I get this cleaning out of the way, I plan to start book number four. Yay!
This entry is long because it's a procrastination post. I should get to work...

Did you really order a Paper Moon album? That's awesome. I woulda sent you a burned one, though, if you wanted (the old one, not the unreleased one, of course). Where did you order from?
