Violence is always unnecessary.
The only time I see any amount of force as necessary is if you're trying to defend yourself. Violence only begets more violence.
I'm not the type to sit and live in fear of something I have no control over. But there's been a lot of talk recently about the possibility of war, or the use of nuclear weapons. Considering just about everyone (and their uncle) now has the ability to use weapons of mass destruction, I'd like to hope everyone still realizes how easily everything is going to get fucked if someone drops the bomb.
I think the thing that frustrates me most is the realization that there are a lot of truly fucked up sadistic people running the show these days. And there are too many people that (for god knows why) support them.
I have no faith in our neighbours to the south anymore. (Not all of you, but the country as a whole...)

anyways I don't know where exactly I'm going with this except that it scares me too that 95% of the people I know are good normal people yet the world sees the other 5% and deems us a crappy country filled with corruption and evil that must be stopped. ummm, yeah...thats it.....or something
And although I might (accidentally?) say a lot about my life in a paragraph, I never manage to say it all.
