Listening to: The Mountain Goats - The Sunset Tree (album)

Today I applied for a job with "Public Outreach". I had a short phone interview with the guy in charge, and I think it went fairly well. He mentioned that tomorrow he was going to be making the necessary phone calls to set up actual interviews, so I guess I'll find out shortly if this works out for me or not.

I think tomorrow I'm going to go hard on applying for all sorts of other jobs. I'll try applying for just about anything I can think of that I would enjoy, and then I'll try to sort out where to go from the responces (if any) that I get. I hope I can figure out where to get my resume printed...

I'm trying not to be so emo tonight. Actually, I think I just got depressed after the bar last night. Sorry about that huge entry though!

I've rented "Traffic" and "Evil Dead II". I'll let you know what I think of them once I've watched them both. (One tonight, and then the other... well whenever I next get a chance I guess.)

Lots of evening outings coming up. Wednesday is the last Hugo's Mod Club. Thursday is the Last Lucky "Hang the DJ". Friday is the Ghosts release party (with the Raygun and Captains of Industry) at Lucky. Then Saturday is our Victoria SG gathering.

If I'm not too tired by then, I might be at Velvet on Sunday night. And then Monday is Lucky 90210. Wow, I really go out way too much for my own good. Ah well, I don't really spend money to go out so it doesn't much matter to me. The only thing that would stop me is sleep deprivation... and even that's not usually a problem with my shifts only starting at noon. How many sober hipsters do YOU know?

I'm going to watch one of those movies now.
