So quick update. I'm in the middle of recording my first solo effort. Which will likely turn into a band and such.
During the instrument tracking last week, I lost a song - or rather the schedule did not allow me to record it. It was prioritized last and, well, it got dropped. and in retrospect - it's not a great fit for this album anyway.
HOWEVER, not wanting to wasted an inch of this effort - I dug back into my closet full of work and pulled out - what to me is a VERY IMPORTANT cover song.
Even better, the estate of Link Wray only requires a $42 royalty for me to run off 300 LPs (yes, I'm mastering it to vinyl) So while I will not be able to make a digital download of the song - due to rights (and money) it'll be the super exclusive "bonus track" only heard if you possess the LP (or if you rip it and offer it up in a torrent)
OR if you listen to my demo of the song.

I'll be cleaning it up considerably and really the only performances that will make the final cut will be the guitar, the stomps and claps, and the sax. A guitar which I had to sell for rent money. I do miss it - but I'm building another (though not a baritone, like the one featured in the song.)
Enjoy and I'll keep you all updated on this album's progress.

Not my cup of tea, but well done and very chill.
