I got a raise and a promotion - but two people got fired in it's wake.

This is a time where it looks so close to blood for blood.

I start my new responsibilities on monday.

I'm excited about helping our company weather this shit and come out on top,

but I worry about those getting lost at sea, and wonder a little how long before I get pitched overboard too.

Only time will tell.

I've got a strong back - so at the end of the day - I can still lift heavy things for you. That's always a marketable skill.
