MMMMMmMmmmmmm. MMMMMmmmmmmmm. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
I have a delightful little drink in my paws. It's not the tastiest - nor is it the weakest! What holiday would now be complete without a libation? How did I ever survive through my teens without one each and every celebratory morning? I pray (to what ever god are responsible for filling bellies and brains, livers and love handles) that you too weild a chalice of drink on this fine wintery afternoon.
A few things have changed in life - or modified - perhaps even evolved (if you think about it though generation can be so prolific that one's own thoughts can mutate like a creature in the wild after so many "revisions.")
1. I belong to a gym now - in fact I lobbied hard for my company to get a corporate account. Despite my athletic past - gyms and I have never been good bedfellows. hopefully that practice will stop henceforth.
2. I'm becoming financially secure. I know it's strange to say it especially since financial security is SUCH a loaded statement. However, for my example, I've finally got things a little bit under control. And debt has been throroughly contained.
3. I read. No wait that's an understatement. I READ LIKE AN Opium Junkie in Afghanistan. I LOVE books now. I got a hardcover uncut version of The Stand with original artwork, this morning. I think to be 25 and just getting one's taste for fiction is a pretty good indicator that I will have an imagination until I turn to dust. And I love it!
4. As much as I love books, I think I'm right clueless about women. I can't seem to keep one near me for more than a few days. It's a shame really - here I am at my sexual peak - on an island. Perhaps my love of monogamy and experimentation with once again be satiated in the coming year. The last few have been rough to say the least and last night's blog is no exception.
5. I now have a crush on Zooey Deschanel. Anyone that can fix me up with her will recieve my eternal gratitude and something nice in bottle form.
6. I am at the point in my musical career where I need to start making decisions to either "play the game" or "push the game away" because sooner than later - coaches are going to start watching my practices and they'll get ideas in their heads.
7. I really hope by this time next year - I'm a teacher, I really do.
