So this is the official first post...ta daaa~
It feels like it should be more epic, doesn't it? I'll try next time, probably. lol Um, let's get the introductions out of the way, shall we?
My name is Sheila, though I affectionately go by 'Shiira' as well. I'm 27 years old and can hardly believe it; I don't consider myself as immature but I definitely don't feel as though I should be the age I am. I am the youngest of two and the only girl. I am the just slightly weird kid who grew up in a small town, read too much, and never quite fit in with the rest.
I find myself hard to describe because I slip in and out of categories easily. I love, love, love music. It's the easiest and fastest way to bring me out of this shell a bit, so do conversations about books and pop culture in general. I am not a stupid person but I don't consider myself intellectual. I am not shy but can be pretty reserved at times, that's just the way I am. I fell in love w/ Japanese culture a few years ago, especially the subcultures of Geiko and Maiko in Kyoto, Japan and the many variations of Lolita fashion.
There's a lot more but I'm also a bit ADD-ish, so TBC...?
