regarding that whole pen vs sword debate...
i think i picked a side, at least as far as my tax return is concerned.
I've wanted a sword for a lotta years. i like the sharp and pointies as much as the next ex fencer, and probably a lot more than your average joe. so when i got a VERY substantial tax return, i thought to meself, "well, maybe now is the time! i shall have a sword!" so i did my research, found a few i liked...
then i cracked open Moleskinerie (fansite for my favorite notebooks) and found a raging debate going on as to the best fountain pen for moleskines. being a weirdo as i am about these notebooks, i read it rather completely. within this thread, i came across these pens. I drooled a lot, and within a few hours, i found myself downtown at the pen store (and yeah, i knew where it was... i suppose that says something too), with my credit card out. Don't ask how much it cost. More than i ever imagined i'd pay for a pen, suffice to say. I then came home, and ordered a couple bottles of this ridiculously awesome ink called Noodlers. Dumb name, but this stuff is amazing. archival quality, acide free, waterproof, forgeproof.
writing geek status confirmed, i suppose.
