I became annoyed with project runways last show. They kept referring to women that weren't part of the fashion industry as "real" women. So if one is tall and thin they are not "real" I think this concept shouldn't make other then model shaped women feel better. It's a way of rejecting a group of women for the way that they look and that is never good. saying that some women are real while others aren't inherently defines them as not the same thing. How does saying that large, short, male ect... women are not the same thing as tall thin female ect... women help either group feel better about who they are? Real women come in ALL shapes sizes and sexes...we are ALL REAL!
Dividing people into a "them and us" binary based on things that are part of natural human diversity is a nasty road. people should define their own groups, by choosing how they identify. If someone born male choses to identify as a woman then she becomes part of that group willingly and is "real". If someone is genetically thin and short, they are not any less real than a woman that is genetically tall and thick.
I agree that when artists photoshop the shit out of a photo to make a woman's head thicker than her hips that is NOT real, but if a woman happened to have the genetics that coded for that appearance then she is real, and should never be treated of called otherwise.

because when he says he doesnt design for real women heidi says "wait, who isnt real?"
but yeah i think calling it the real women challenge in the first place is where the problem starts
what are they then, ROBOTS?
