I went to a really shit party last night. It was at this place called The Waterfront. This group of people seem to like it but I don't know why I bothered to go in the first place because the last suarray there was shit. They play remixes of pop songs, nineties pop, that kind of thing. The bar is on three levels and looks out over the canal and the law courts. Nice location. There are a few bars there and it's a bit like a drinking village. I left after half an hour, called on Alix and then went to meet the people who stuck it out at my pal Dj's house in Hyson Green. What was kinda bad was that I was ID'd on my way in (my fault, I tried to get in through the glass doors on the veranda - permitted but probably inconvieniet for the staff somehow) and the bouncer wouldn't let me in unless I bought a packet of 20 cigerettes off him for 4, imported Marboro Lights.
It was dead good at Djezz's house; I was the only sober person and I was a little bit irrate about how things are between me and Al so I took it all out on people who were drunk and amenable. Anyway just don't go to the waterfront at night at all, it's one of the many places in Nottingham that are no good.
People will begin to get back from Uni any time now. This bodes badly for my application on two levels. A. I have't applied yet and there wont be anyone there to read my form B. TOO many distraction.
