Been a little distracted at work today since I read that Carrie Fisher passed away. I've been trying to rationalize it but, I suppose it's so impactful because of how influential Star Wars and her presence as Leia has been to my life. Her iconicism was so significant that it creates a loss of a peice of "life" in the sense that a person, associated with such a major influence, as much as Star Wars has, leaves you with an emptiness in your heart. R.I.P. Leia, may the force be with you, always.
