Gearing up to record a few more songs. This time ill be doing it in the garage. Its the simplest place to record because no one has to move their shit. Ill lay out some carpet maybe put some blankets on the wall. I really dont care. If there is a bit of echo its no big deal. One i play in a punk band, two its not the sky walker ranchIts Rotten Avocado Studios. I recorded about 20 minutes of test runs, working out this and that, with my drummer this afternoon. The only bad thing today was finding out i had a faulty ground. if i played my bass with my feet touching the floor, i acted as the ground. ZAP ZAP ZAP. i should fix that before someones dies. So Friday the band will kick out some jams. I think ill record live to see how we like that.I hope that works out the best. i hate the head ache of overdubbing and shit im not qualified to do. Mixing sucks also. I get better at this every time. ramble ramble ramble. im going to make a cocktail.
