so it seems like there will be no work this week also. had i known all of this in advance i would have gone home to Miami. now i don't think i'll be able to go for my birthday at all because who could a ford a month off from work. i guess thats just the way it is.
so for the holidays i was at my aunts house, as is tradition i guess. It was my first Christmas in Connecticut in 18 years. my grandmother got me 2 huge toblerone bars and some coffee. i wasn't really expecting anything from anyone so i was very happy. my uncle who is friends with the local jagermeister distributor gave me 2 huge bottles of the stuff so i'm covered for the year with that stuff maybe longer
anyway as the night drew on my uncle who's been a cop in this small ass town forever was trying to talk me in to being a cop. I've thought about it before but the thing is i really really dislike police. but if the economy doesnt turn around i may give it some though. they have nice perks and retirement after 20-25 years. if i was to join today i would 48 and retired. now that sounds awesome to me. then i could just sail on my (now dream) boat all the time no worries in my mind.
so i was poking around my dads CDs looking for something to put on and came across miles davis. i have always enjoyed jazz but never enough to really try to find out who anyone was. it was always just something i would put on in the car if i want in the mood for i dont know sheer terror or something like that and i didnt want to listen to the news. but i was really blown away by this guy. it was awesome so i went around and found some more of his stuff in the closet and just had it on all last night.
my coffees getting cold
good bye no one
