...It was exceptionally difficult just trying to pick which images I wanted to share. There are SO many good shots... and really, WOW. Just... just... go look and join in on my awe-inspired rambling, will you?

My first batch of sushi. Very simple... imitation crab, cucumber, cream cheese, and tamago (japanese egg)...

Tamago making! This is pretty embarassing... I didn't have a tamago pan then, and I didn't know veggie oil is generally better for this kind of omelette than olive oil, which is my default...

Slice n' dice!!! The first roll I had to cut was an epic failure. But, the learning process was fun and now I know some secret sushi-cutting tips!!!

Full yield of the first time...

The second time I made sushi, I actually went to a fish-mart by the beach and got...

Salmon. Yum.

And octopus!!! love Plus, tuna and the tamago pan (=win).

Third time I made use of the leftover tuna and octo by frying it...

Can you tell how much more AWESOME the tamago is here??

I also crammed a lot more into the rolls... carrot slices, celery, cucumber, tamago, octo, tuna, crab, and a tiny bit of cream cheese. Might sound gross, acually quite good.
