I enjoy theatre and acting imensely. I don't want to do anything in my life that doesn't involve art or performing. But I find that the older I get, mainstream theatre and film work appeals to me less and less. it just doesn't seem...creative enough, or not very original. I've been researching cabaret and burlesque scenes in the Chicago area (I'm moving to Chicago after college. yes, it's still the midwest, but Chicago's a cool town with a thriving theatre and arts community. I want to stay there for a couple years and see where it takes me.) and it looks somewhat promising. I just have no idea how to break into that area of performance. I need a mentor or something.
in a perfect world I would be part of the Build Team on Mythbusters by day, and Ms. Siouxsie Darling by night. Dare to dream, girlie.
In other news: damn I'm cute today. and I love The Cramps.

My ex-roommate works as a burlesque dancer in Milwaukee of all places. It's just north of Chicago, and a very cool city.
I don't know why I say that. Just a quick note and a hello.
