I've seen that there's some pet peeves homework, and I'm glad to chip in with a few of my own! ;)
1. People who don't tip their servers, or who don't tip an appropriate amount. If you're at a restaurant for an hour, and your drink was never empty, and you got your food, your server deserves 15% of your bill as a tip. As I've heard said many times before, if you can't afford the tip, you can't afford to eat out. I know it's not really any normal person's fault that servers don't even make minimum wage, but it's still our duty to be decent human beings. <3
2. I do a lot of the housework around here, and this pet peeve comes up quite often, even though I've politely asked my roommates to try to avoid it: People who are utterly terrible about stacking dishes. Plates shouldn't be stacked on cups that are stacked on bowls balanced on a fork. Please?
3. People who don't listen. Or rather, who listen but immediately forget what was said. Not everyone has the time or inclination to repeat themselves 5 times a week, thanks!
4. Anyone who declines comment and then complains about it. "Is there anything you'd like us to pick up while we're out?" "Nope." (later...) "Where's (whatever they could have said when I asked)?" If you think of it after we leave you can totally text me. Or you can pull your head out of your game for ten seconds and actually think about the question when it's posed! Yay ideas!
I think that's all I can remember right now. I'm sure there are others, but those really bug me. :O How about you guys? Anything similar?
