I'm in a last-minute surprise art show this weekend. I found out about it yesterday, the pieces went to the gallery tonight, the show opens tomorrow and everything comes down Sunday! I'll be showing up to six pieces - an installation, a quilt and four framed collages. These pieces haven't been exhibited since my show at Fools Foundation last May.
WHAT: Um, I don't know the name of the show. I don't know if it even has a name. It's a Phantom Gallery event, which means it's in an empty storefront, not an established gallery.
WHERE: 920 Del Paso Boulevard. From downtown Sacramento, take 160 to Del Paso. I've been told it's one of the first retail buildings on the right.
WHEN: Saturday, February 10th from 6 pm to 11 pm. One night only!
WHO: This building has thirteen rooms so there will be many, many artists showing! Mick Sheldon and Chris Bales, among others, will have works there.
WHY: Because it's cold and rainy and you need to see some fabulous art this weekend!
