Thank you to everyone who sent birthday wishes! I had a great night. Spent two hours in the pub after work with my dad having our traditional birthday drink (i say traditional, we started it last year) and then I went on to meet my high school/college friends that I haven't seen since around July.
Anyways, the next week was half term which means the breakfast/afterschool club i work in is transformed to the holiday club and i have to work all day with over excited kids. I didn't get that secretary job btw, have applied for another one though. Most of last week consisted of me working at the club and being too tired for anything else. On Friday i had the day off and travelled across to Wales with my friend Natalie to see my friend Vicki and her band play their first gig. We of course took the mega bus there, which had way too many people and smells on it
Met my friend in Cardiff, took the train to Newport and checked into our b'n'b which wasn't as shabby as we thought it'd be for the price. Here's the view from our window, we were in an attic room...
Then we made our way back into town and Natalie and I got dropped off in a bar while my friend went to sound check. We were absolutley knackered by this point and the comfortable leather sofa's weren't any help. Natalie getting chatted up by a guy with no teeth was the highlight of that bar
We were there for an hour and then went next door to the gig venue where they had really cheap cocktails at 2-4-1 so it's obvious what Nat and I were doing. My friends band were really really good and got the biggest crowd of the night (they were first on). When all the bands were done we moved on to a rock club called TJ's, which was pretty shabby but we had a really good time. A girl I had been making eyes with in the first bar (and for once i had totally got this eye contact thing right) came to TJ's. The story get's really complicated and long here so I'm not going to go into it but basically we hooked up for a bit and then parted because she had to get back to her friends and my ones were annoying us ( 
). Then later on she came upto me asking if we all wanted to go back to her house for the night. We did and i think she totally regreted having my friends stay there cause they made a mess of the place. So yeah, I had the most amazing night with this girl. Probably the best time I've had with anyone and I don't want to keep gushing about it like a twat so I'll stop here but I really like her and am seeing her in a couple of weeks which can't come soon enough. Back to story....by the time we got back to our b'n'b the next morning, all our stuff was packed up in bags and the room was prepared for the next guests. Oops. Must have been the best guests they've had. Nat and I then had to do an hours walk back to town. dead. on. our. feet. We met my friend Vicki, went to the train station to get the train back to Cardiff and went around the shops with 2 hours to spare before our coach left. Thankfully there were hardly any people on the coach back and i actually got the chance to spread my legs and get a bit of sleep, even though Natalie couldn't keep quiet the whole way back. We had a great time there though and i somehow managed to spend a whole weeks wages on it 
Yesterday I had to work all day again as it was staff training day so loads of kiddies were still out of school. I had the worst headache ever and just couldn't cope. I ended up sitting at a table with kids painting and not moving for hours. Am better today but i don't work tuesdays anyway. Tonight natalie is cooking me one of her fantabulous roast dinners. She really is a great cook, I can't wait!
Haven't got much planned for the rest of the week as I have no money until i get paid on Friday. I shall most probably be coming to the meet on Saturday though so see many of you there i hope.
