ROOM FOR RENT - N/E LONDON & ESSEX (see below)
Looks like things have come to a head with my lame-o housemate, but not quite in the way I intended. After failing to make any effort to get my rent to me last week like I asked, he took umbrage at me having a go at him and has decided to bail. It comes as no surprise.
(For those of you not in on the story for the last 18 months I've been renting my spare room to an old sixth-form friend, and although I was well aware of his idosyncracies, he's been slowly treating me like more and more of a chump to the point that I can't stand it any more, and TBH he's now doing me a favour).
So, I'll be looking for a replacement. Basically the deal is exclusive use of a bedroom, plus general general house share (shared kitchen, bathroom, living room, garden). All bills/tax/utilities (inc. Sky TV, wireless LAN & broadband) included (only phonecalls excluded, whic TBH are free anyway thanks to my work) for 450 a month o.n.o.
Location is leafy suburbia a stone's throw from Epping Forest and Debden tube station, only an hour by tube to Tottenham Court Road (zone 1-6 monthly travelcard ~150). Must be reasonably reliable and tidy, and must like cats. A preference for sci-fi, comics or gaming not essential, but would be a big plus. If any of you know anyone who might be interested then please let me know ASAP.
In other news the weekend was a great laugh. I didn't score well in the main event, but I did manage to pick up super-cheap copies of Abalone and Escape From Atlantis! which made me happy. Playing cards and drinking until 4am two days in a row has taken it's toll though, so today's proving a bit tough!
Also picked up the new SOAD album which came out today. I'm still basking in it's glory. This is *the* music event of the year, and eveyone *must* go and buy it now! The only thing that can possibly be more amazing will be seeing them live at the beginning of June. Hurrah!

But she lives up in Pinner so we could even meet up in London or whatever some time. Unfortunately no sisters. I'll keep my eye out for hot friends though.
We'll make plans soon!
