Edited to say last night I nearly tripped over a hedgehog, and also saw some baby fox cubs playing about by a hedge on the was home last night. Awww. It's good to be reminded how great it is to *not* live in the city...

So Friday I partook of the hospitality of rainwolfkin and suicidedoggie, and introduced them to the whacky world of collectible strategy card games. Always good to introduce/corrupt more people into the fold...
Saturday I headed off to Elstree Studios to be in the audience of Most Haunted Live! for LivingTV. It was pretty cool, although there was a lot of sitting about on very uncomfortable chairs, and I had to leave early before the end to get the last train home (as my lame-o housemate who organised the tickets blew me out and wouldn't drive there). I came within touching distance of Derek although didn't get an opportunity to chat. There may have been a meet'n'greet afterwards but I couldn't stay to find out...
Sunday I went to see Kingdom of Heaven. Have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Made a bit of a hash of the history, but it was nicely paced and deftly handled. The battles were great, but the spectacle didn't consume the story. Mr Bloom held is own, but only I think because the part required him to look slightly overwhelmed for the majority of the film. Good to see Alexander Siddig (Bashir from DS9) get some work. Also good to see Saladin portrayed in a favourable light.
And here we are Monday again. Will be prepping for the weekend of booze and card-playing coming up and otherwise keeping a fairly low profile I guess...
