Well although I was originally planning to do a bit of a movie-fest yesterday courtesy of my UGC card (9.99 a month for as many films as you like) they changed their damn schedule too quick which means I've missed Resident Evil II already and everything else I wanted to see is on uber late only. Bastards. Will be swinging by later today to see Hero finally but that's all now...
In the end I managed to successfully waste most of yesterday by vegging out and playing with my old Lego. My ma brought it all up while I was away and I just couldn't help rummaging and having a bit of a nostalgia trip before packing it all away in my loft. TBH I'd forgotten how many fantastically cool sets I had. Luckily my ma had also found my bundle of instructions (for sets going back up to 20 years) and after making a few spaceships and castles up it seems that I've hardly lost any bits either! Hurrah! Still have loads of old catalogues from the 80s too. I always thought it was strange that they cycled sets in and out on a 3-year basis. Also strange is that fact that although each set has a name - e.g. Castle Lion or Taurean Ore Carrier - but they never put the title on the actual box when you buy it. Tsk none of that 'Space Police' or 'Harry Potter' stuff either I remember the days when it was just Town, Castle or Space, and that was it. I do like the look of the funky new Star Wars Lego though, if only it wasn't so damn expensive these days...
Will be nice to catch up with my folks later this evening for the first time in weeks. Also have the Unconvention next week and the Questing Conference the week after. Hopefully I'll be able to kick-start my brain into a higher gear so I can absorb the wonders of both events in a meaningful fashion.
And it's Halloween soon, right? Anyone doing anything particularly cool? See you at the ship for Kinto's meet on Saturday?
And BTW does anyone know when the clocks go back? *scratches head*

Thanks for a delightful compliment mon cher. It's all true as well. What's a Suicide Girl without a sick sense of humour.
