Computer update: New Tosh is fine, and insurance company says they'll probably replace the Vaio too, although not until they've seen it, which means I need to copy the HD, which I can't do until I can plug it into a normal PC IDE slot, which I can't do at home because my ma's PC has gone AWOL - motherboard probably fried thanks to the PCI Ethernet card that they let me borrow from work, which means I'll probably have to fork out to replace. Tsk and grr. Nothing's ever bloody simple, is it?
Film update: Starring in Sharkboy was both hilarious (as the script and the cast/crew are great) and highly embarassing (thanks to the awful costume I ended up having to wear. Not sure it'll be anything to proud of personally, but I'm happy to help my friend out. Good job I'm not keen to be a full-time actor I suppose...
Hamster update: Jaz is doing ok still looking a little ragged but I guess that's mostly old age. His privates are looking a lot less sore now I think he was becomign very sensitive to the saw dust/shavings that I was using to floor his cage. Will probably end up taking him with me on the stag bank holiday thing for peace of mind, fingers xssed it all goes ok.
Writing update: Sitcom script is coming along well, short story is hardly started. Thank god I've got this week off to get it all finished. Boardgame is also completely handed over and I'm now waiting to see prototype proofs before it moves into production.
Not much else to tell, still bloody skint. So much to do, so little time. Hopefully I'll catch up with you guys soon!

We used to have a pet rat which loved beer, every friday we would pour some in his bowl, which he'll polish off (equivalent to a bathtub full of booze for a human being) then he'll run around in circles in his cage and then pass out till the next morning. Very heavy metal!
