Fate laughed at my mention of good luck, and promptly zapped my hard drive, killing it stone dead. It's taken me two days and 150 to get things back to the point of normality. Grr!!!

I'm still arsing about, pooter wise. HDD seems okay, eventually, after two reformats and a reinstall of xp, but no matter what I do I can't seem to get me broadband connex working on that machine. Just reinstalled it here and it works first time.....hmmm...
