Well hurrah for Fridays. Looking forward especially to the big SGUK meet tomorrow. Hopefully it will be cool, and I won't be ill or otherwise make a tit of myself.

Otherwise things are particularly dull, with work the same and not much luck on the job hunting front. A bit of mid-week TV and a lot of web surfing has kept me busy, but it's not really anything exciting.

Have just discovered though that Incubus are releasing a new album very shortly, so that cheered me up. Also considering the possibility of going to see Chimaira and/or Lost Prophets early next month (if I can get tickets and can find anyone to go with).

All the tracks on the sampler on this month's Metal Hammer were all retro/classic/prog/doom/punk i.e. all dull and nothing new. The world needs more exciting and interesting metal music!

Also miffed that I *nearly* won a holiday to Oz this week. Managed to get through to Christian on XFM yesterday, but he bloody chose somebody else to answer first before me grrr. I suppose its not so bad, as I did win the same Fostralia holiday from them 3 years ago...
