Ho hum well it's the beginning of another week and it's also less than 3 weeks until xmas. Have bought bugger all so far for anyone, although I did put tinsel up everywhere this weekend (which the cats will no doubt demolish in due course) 
More importantly RotK is now less than 2 weeks away, hurrah! After having been to the exhibition at the Science Museum *twice* I'm now getting in the mood by finally watching the extras discs on my extended FotR and TT. Not sure about the two-/three-movie extravaganzas in the cinema - will probably be more satisfying to wait until they are showing all three extended prints back-to-back overnight. Although it'll weigh in at ~11hrs or more, I've done it before with all 5 Star Wars films and all 4 Aliens films...
In other news I've spotted a fab dream job at Clara.net which is probably the only ticket I'll ever get to escape the drudge-filled fugue-state which is my current job. Haven't got Bob Hope in hell though really. Wish me luck...
Looks like my resolve is caving in, and I'm contemplating heading out on Fri for beer and then metal and more beer at Sanctum, staying up all night to go straight to Dragonmeet on Saturday. Not sure if I can demo and judge intelligeably on no sleep and caffeine, but I guess we'll find out eh...?

I thought the season was pretty good. I had no expectations going into it though. I'd say it's better than 90% of TV out there.....worth checking out at least.
