After spendiing over two weeks trying to ward off a tickly throat infection passed on by a guy at work I then catch some quasi-swine-flu type thing from a friend. Five days later I'm almost back to normal. Being ill is rubbish, especially when it's enough to make me feel bad, but not bad enough to keep me in bed. Or perhaps I'm just too concientious to skive off work at the earliest opportunity. Or perhaps I'm just a bit mental to keep soldiering on in the face of adversity. I actually don't tend to get ill that often - I eat pretty good, and stay pretty positive - so this latest run of lurgy has been pretty depressing. Hopefully that will be it for the year, and that I won't get another bout around Xmas (which is what normally happens). Bah.
In other news, Star Trek was awesome, pure cinema joy. The ending of The Shield was enough to rival the best Shakesperean tragedy.Ashes to Ashes is cool, but I'm not sure where it's going. Dollhouse has started on Sci-Fi but I'm not sure about it based on the first episode. Still waiting to find out when True Blood will start on FXUK (there no sign of it on DVD yet, and I can't be arsed to try and download it). Tempted to buy Supernatural S4 on DVD but really can't afford it ATM. Hmm is it sad that these days my life seems to be defined by TV shows...?

And I would much rather own the boxset than a torrent, but needs must.
