I guess I'm overdue for an update again. Quite a lot's been going on, not all of it that thrilling but still... *shrugs*
- Still working on kitchen, after two weeks (and several setbacks) I now have a sink and a cooker again, yay!
- My first SG meet since January, a great laugh as always, was particularly amused by the level of hormones in the air and how difficult it is to herd Irish people towards nightclubs (even if the nightclub in question was the most heinous I've ever seen). At this rate Nottingham is going to be mental!
- My first cinema trip for ages. Both Slither (flipping between horrendous gore and belly laughs) and Silent Hill (unnerving, creeping horror, a worthy successor to the legacy of Hellraiser) were excellent.
- My umpteenth Unconvention, which this time included Da-Vinci-Code-esque conspiracy, Victorian magic lanterns, Mongolian death worms, and Lovercraftian silent films. Top stuff!
This week I will be mostly watching Lost season 2 (it starts tonight), attaching kitchen doors/handles and playing EVE Online.
