Ani Difranco has a song that states "Take away our playstations, and we are a third world nation.

We'll if any of us had any doubt about that statement whatsoever I think that this last week has answered it with a resounding YES we are.

I am not ever speaking about the actually conditions of New Orleans (while they are very much "third" world at the moment), it was more our response to the sittuation that is so pathetic.

I wish all of the people still in that city the best of luck!
