Yea Quinne! I don't know what it is about that girl, but she is just too fucking cute! I think it's the smile........
So I couple of people welcomed me back to this whole "real world" thing, and some others brought up some good points. I've been thinking a lot about it, and I must say that Eugene as a city (not even an anarchist scene) wraps a pretty big blanket of ignorance around it's inhabitants.
But anyway I'm gonna try really hard to make this place my home (I don't have a fucking choice). So I'll say one thing cool about it in my journal whenever I remember:
1. There is very little crime here. No bike theft, very little drug crime, no meth, no METH, did I mention NO METH!!!!, and so like we could actually leave my bike outside for like an hour it would still be on our property! YEA
In other news. My sister proposed to her now future husband, and called me to tell me yesterday. I'm happy for her, he's a good dude, and pretty smart. But so is she, and that worries me. She went to Boston University on a 3/4 full ride scholarship, then got accepted into Harvard Medical's genetics PHD program. But I told her if she doesn't finish school I'll drive up to Boston and tickle some sense back into her. I'm really happy for her.
Today's my graduate orientation, I am really excited. In fact for the first time in a while I think I "can't wait" for something...
i''m so manic... if my parents/culture/doctors had their way they would drug me twice daily....

comics are alright. i haven't finished anything in the last week. been busy. but i've been making connections with other proactive artist types. i think i'm starting to find my crowd maybe, of peers anyway.
i'm interested in hearing more about this kid's humor zines. thanks for screening him though. wouldn't want to be making a trade with frog. you know...
