What a crazy night.
I think I could grow to like this state, minus how much money we seem to spend here....
We left the valley around 4:30 and rolled into the city late night for an adventure and an opening in Brooklyn. What a city, what a fun time. We explored the east village for a while and met some great people, then it wass off to Brooklyn to find a place we had never heard of. Split a taxy with a kick ass girl named Elly, and ended up two blocks from the show with little effore.
Went to the Cannonball Press opening. Total low brow "renegade" pirate printmakers that print about real shit, have real prices, and created a general possitive atmosphere for the show. They used the space great. I met Marc and Mike and while the work was good, I thought they were a little to cocky, but we threw it right back them. I think they were upset though since I was buying a piece that wasn't buy either of them (what can I say often times the rock stars art work isn't as good as the roadies...)
I bought this print fon twent bucks, I think it's fucking great!!! This girl Gracia hit the concept of modern marketing on the head with this series and for twenty bucks I couldn't pass it up...

It was a fun time. I want to show in that space! We're working on it.

Hope all is well for you, as well. As the national lampoon once pointed out "life is short, and then you die." Live as you want to live today, there's always another tommorow.
