So ringleader tagged me and now I'm it. Rules: Post 20 interesting facts about yourself. Tag 5 people; they have to post 20 interesting facts about themselves and tag another five people.. I have to say that I don't normally do this kind of stuff on here, but I like where this one is going, since it seems sincere, so I will participate.
1. I grew up in a Trailer Park. Yep, trailers in rows, with trucks in the front on blocks, tires on the roof, and fat women in moomoo's, with little naked kids running around. So the term "white trash" to me is like hearing "nigger".
2. My father works for ExxonMobil (there I said it). Don't hate me, if you have questions PLEASE ASK!!!! there is a lot of interesting history here.
3. My mother forged my signature on my application to an Associattes College she taught at. Before that, I was going to be a drug dealer in Colorado. But I took art classes instead after she told me a month before classes started that I was accepted to a college.
4. Art is the best thing that ever happened to me.
5. When I was 18 I hitched from Oregon to New York, then down to Florida. Did the whole road kid thing for a while, but I didn't like the corruption, and patriarchy.
6. I once tripped for 25 days straight after an LSD deal went sour and a fellow dealer dosed me with about 30 hits when I wasn't aware.
7. One of my favoriite things in the world is to put on headphones and go to a public place. I love to look for the syncronicity between the music, and the people moving around me. I've fallen in love with the world a million times over doing this.
8. Mogwa is honestly the only one real person I have ever met in my entire life that I feel I can absolutelly trust.
9. Despite my "radical" views, I fucking love to work. I have what those teachers would call is a "work ethic", when I have a job I do it.
10. When I was 17 me and some friends got chased through the deserts of Wyoming by a Desert Storm Vet with a 45 semi automatic. He sent about five clips of ammunition over our heads, and I actually heard two shots whiz about three feet from my head. He was drunk, and didn't like "hippies".
11. I have a secret fantasy of being a fashion designer. I love the idea of a human being a canvas.
12. I absolutely love the female form, I think it is the most beautiful creation on the planet. Short, tall, large, small, whatever, it is perfectly balanced aesthetically.
13. I have not been back to my home town, or contacted any of my friends that I grew up with since I left. There is a reason for this though, I'm not a dick, I swear.
14. I used to be a professional "aggressive" inline skater, next to art, skating is the most peaceful wonderful thing I have ever done completely for myself.
15. I suffer from depression, but refuse to medicate myself! At times this is really hard. It leads to things like cutting myself, self deprication in social sittuations, social ancxiety, and self medication. But I can overcome this shit,and I don't need a little purple pil I want to do this on my ownl....
It just takes time. I don't need a quick fix, I need salvation.
16. I have saved two people's lives.
17. I collect toys, I refuse to let go of my childhood.
18. I am absolutely, 100%, NOT VEGAN!
19. My first concert was New Kids On the Block.
I just remembered that I always tell people this so that I can make them laugh. I think it's funny as shit really. I was in like 5th grade, the show sucked, but before we went I thought it would be fun. It taught me a lesson about consumerism that I never forgot.
20. I have come to terms with the fact that unfortunatelly I am going bald. But I think it is actually kind of cool!
21. (bonus round) Despite all the "hard shit" that I talked about above, or the "bad times" I may have had in the past. I wouldn't change I god damn thing about my life. I love who I am, my strengths, my weaknesses, and all that is in between. My past, my present, all that made me ME, I like that about me.
