Whew. Another day over.
This whole 9a-midnight thing gets pretty tiring pretty quickly. Today was incredibly boring, too. Not much happened in the morning or afternoon. So I sat in the theater, vaguely watching rehearsal, mostly not paying attention...sort-of half-almost maybe doing some paperwork updates to keep the show in check.
Tonight's performance went great. We're getting closer every night to having it locked in.
Doesn't mean I'm not itching for the next project...Whenever I'm in one place too long I feel that need: to go on tour, usually. Pack some shit in a bag and hop on a bus. Or just get a new peircing or tattoo...
It's pretty funny that this is the longest-running gig I've ever had, and my contract is only 16-weeks long. To think some people work the same desk job for 40 years....terrifying.
I'm much happier roaming around.
