In honor of the season here is a little poem I put together after running around the city doing some last minute shopping.
It was the day before the day before Christmas and all through the city.
There was no cheer.
The people were shitty.
The traffic was backed up.
The lines were long.
People did things to each other that were just plain wrong.
Costco was packed.
Bestbuy was worse.
I nearly beat an old lady to death with her purse.
Sitting in traffic.
Just settled into my seat.
When this bitch cut us off.
Then she left with a beep.
My face turned red.
My vision turned blurry.
I was angry.
And I got there in a hurry.
As she drove off I exclaimed with a shout.
"Who taught you to drive?"
"I should knock your teeth out!"
