holy crap it's nice out. portland is a cruel mistress. it's gray and rainy out for so long you get used to it and forget spring will come, then, three nice days in a row. you reach for the water repellent jacket on your way out with the dog and realize you don't need it.

then you sit outside for 20 minutes in the sun and the rest of the day people say "ooo! you're red! you got some sun!"

i'm so pale!

i'm going to go walk the dog for 4 hours now i think.
