I should update this thing more often. So...I saw the best movie ever last night, Air Guitar Nation. Go see it, NOW.
Classes ended for the semester, but the relief was short-lived. I have one week to revise all I've written of my novel so far and submit it to my summer advisor/mentor. The summer is all about intense, what do you call it? Independent study. One on one. I have to write 150 new pages and take one chapter through three revisions. And read. But it's like a fantasy come true--I've got my little studio, my mattress on the floor, my stereo and my bookshelf. Oh, and my computer. And a motorcycle for kicks. Life is pretty fantastic.
And while people from all over the country fly in to San Francisco for the prom tonight, this genius will be flying out on the red-eye to Houston. I get there at 6:20 am, so my lady refuses to come get me (her daughter's got to bring her breakfast in bed), and to top it all off, MY mother is stuck in India. (Long story...I guess I still need to write an entry about my recently deceased maternal grandfather.)
But all that is still far off. I need to pack and hit the road because my friends are throwing a free techno party in Golden Gate Park in about two hours. Time for some booty shaking and bocce ball.

And I also went to Klein Intermediate, and Epps Island Elementary. (Willowood Reprezent)
Although, honestly, I pretty much hated going to KF. It had gotten so crowded, and the teachers were so busy battling unruly students that most of us were left to fend for ourselves.
