wow. i feel like it's time for a new post. actually, i've been feeling this for a few weeks now but it's all just a matter of making the time for it.
life is its normal self around here. i'm paying my rent, drinking enough beer, making some extra money and pouring it all back into this little project of mine:
. not running just yet but the valves are properly adjusted, the battery is charging as we speak and i've got some more ideas for when i get up tomorrow.
happy memorial day, everyone! i propose that we remember not just the lives that have been given by men in uniform by why they were given this year. i really think that the lives were given out of pride in this country and the idea that we men can strive for something approaching a respectful government. i can't help but contrast that with what we have now and wonder what went wrong and who sold us all out in the name of power. there really is such an infinite potential for us all to do amazingly good things for the world but it is hampered at every turn by our current power structure. this memorial day i'm going to be remembering that there is more to this holiday than white shoes, bar-b-ques and american flags. there is also the need to remember how we've let everyone down. our potential hasn't been met for a very long time but i do believe that it is time to live up to it once again!

Sorry to hear that mate. It is weird how things like that happen sometimes though.
