I am back from NYC hooray! I missed SF, what with the fog and the not too hot and the nice hoodie weather. I missed being able to *wear* my hoodies, esp. my swanky SG hoodie which is quickly becoming my favorite since it is extra big and cuddly!
NYC was horrendously fun and I was saddened to have to leave, but home is so nice and familiar and I know all the good places to eat and go out around here. NYC is fun to visit, but I don't think I would like living there. There is some awesome shopping however, and I scored a pretty awesome skirt. I have been browsing ebay lately too against my better judgement, and could quite conceivably end up spending lots of cash there in the near future.
I swear I am working on elucidate stuff. I did however manage to harf and post tons of pics from h2k2 (http://www.elucidate.org/photo/H2K2) and now I am actually being motivated and working on other pics. Perhaps I will also update the /photo section of elucidate with actual links! However he.net is being a whore and dropping connections right and left so that might have to wait until tomorrow.
H2K2 was soooo wonderful and I met tons of rad new people as well as getting to see lots of old friends. I miss everyone now and can't wait for the next con we all meet up at. I want to go to DEFCON kinda, but I am so against the things it stands for. And it is spendy, as is hotel there. But plane tickets are cheap. It really depends on what Gweeds is planning on doing. So tempted tho, just to see people and socialize.
In other news I am completely addicted to the marvelous ICE series of CLIF bars. Help me! They are actually healthy! but they taste delicious and have a shot of caffiene! I need to hit up Trader Joe's and get a few boxes. A few in my bag combined with a Starbucks Doubleshot or Red Bull keep me perky all day long AND come in handy for those pesky "I forgot to grab lunch" hunger pangs.
In other news, I need a photog in SF who wants to shoot some pics for me! see, I am a photog, but don't wanna do it myself. But perhaps I could. I just hate not being able to see through the camera, because even with self timer, bracketing, and my digicam remote, it still takes so much more time. Any SG SF Photogs out there keen for portfolio work? I can do trade!
Right now the lovely Lola is in my kitchen and there is some fabulous techno playing on the stereo. What the hell am I doing in the bedroom on the computer?! Perhaps I should try and convince Ms. Lola to do a tandem shoot with me. HA!
