All packed and set for GenCon! Leaving as soon as my buddy arrives. I'm only going to be able to stay until Friday, but I'm really looking forward to doing some new game shopping!

Of course, I do have to temper my purchases. I need to buy a new banjo.

Two doctors and $65 in co-payments later, and I'm still not any better. My regular doc sent me to an ENT. They did a bunch of tests, including scoping my sinuses (ugh) and a battery of hearing tests. Verdict: I have fluid behind my ear drums, the ear drums are barely moving, and my hearing is down to about 30% of where it should be....

Last night, I played something that was almost...ALMOST... a recognizable song on the banjo.

This is highly encouraging!

However, it's only two finger bluegrass style. This week, I'm sure the instructor will do something that will make my brain explode, like he has every other week.
