Well. I have only four more days to work this year. Seems that I didn't spend nearly as much vacation time as I thought. But that's cool...things are really slow here at work right now. Plus, the house is a pit, so I need to spend some time cleaning, since my wife can't seem to get to it.
Played 7 Wonders at my FLGS yesterday, and I was really really, impressed. Of all of the recent deck building games I've played (Dominon, Thunderstone, etc.), I like this one better than any of the others. Rules were explained in about 10 minutes, and I had a good grasp of the mechanics after about the second round. We were able to get a game in in about 45 minutes, and there was very little "analysis paralysis" that set in, even though you had a lot of options presented to you each hand. The game I played had a really close score at the end, with no player falling behind another player by more than about 3 points.
Highly recommended, and I would have a copy myself if they hadn't sold out that morning. Of course, all of my impressions are based on a single game, so take that as you will. They are reserving a copy of the game for me from their next shipment of games, hopefully this week.

Don't ever let 'em tell you that there's no such thing as a free lunch.
