D&D success and fail, all in the space of two days!
D&D success: I ran two fairly successful games of D&D at the Worldwide D&D Game Day on Saturday over at Cat and Mouse games. The first game was full to capacity, had six players, and they pretty much barreled through the adventure, with little to no problems. A good time was had by all. The second game I only had two players for, but they wanted to play, so I improvised a lot on the fly, made some changes to the scenario as I was playing, and I have to admit that the scenario was even better after my tinkering. The two guys playing had a great time once again, I just wish I would have had a couple of other players show up. cough*Morgan*cough*
D&D fail: Last night, I was scrambling to get things together for our weekly D&D game. I was running behind because the PC's leveled up the week before, and I had to get all of the sheets printed up and the cards cut out, and I had just finished drawing out the map on the wet erase board, and had my notes and cards in front of me. Players had their brand new sheets, and a fresh stack of power cards printed out, and I was talking to one the players, and was getting excited about something, when I gestured wildly with my hand, which hit my DM's screen, which knocked over my FULL glass of iced tea, which went spilling ALL over two of the character sheets and cards and my map and the adventure. Took us like a full hour to recover after the great flood...
From now on, I'm using a top for my tumbler.

Well, the Cat and Mouse part sounds good, anyway.
