Well, I caved. Picked up the Beatles Rock Band Limited Edition. My 10 year old daughter has become a huge Beatles fan, and she screamed when she saw me carry it in. We shoved the furniture to the side, assembled drums, set up mics, got the guitars set up, and we were set. 6 year old son on drums, 10 year old on vocals, 13 year old daughter on lead guitar, and me on the sweet Hoffner bass. By the time we got everything set up and figured out, we were only able to go through 3 songs in quickplay mode, but everyone had a ball by the time I sent my son off to bed.
Eldest, afterwards, admitted that the songs we did were pretty cool. She has stated over and over again how much she disliked the Beatles, but conceded that most of that was because her sister liked them so much.
Tomorrow we start up Story Mode. Wonder how far we can go until my hand falls off.

I'm joking around, but that really does sound like fun.
