OK so I have been on this site for a while and have decided to kick off a blog. It is going to follow my work mainly, I am a design engineer by trade and qualification, but I work for quite an interesting company, we manufacture bikes for the Moto GP motorcycle world championship. This year I will be travelling the world with the GP circus, going to many countries and race circuits. I thought I could offer an inside insight to this world that despite being very public, has strict control over what you have access to see and hear.
Anyway I am on the verge of going to the first round of the season in Qatar, I depart on wednesday, it is the first year where I will work assisting teams as a factory engineer, looking after their needs for spares and occasionally giving technical advice when required.
On my journey I will post stories and pictures from the world of GP as well as random stuff from my own life. I hope anyone who picks up on this enjoys!
