Found a 1995 Subaru Legacy L for $2900 online.
Gonna stop by the dealership after work today and see if they finance and will take my car as a trade in. If so, I might be able to get it, assuming it is still there.
1995 Legacy has the 2.2L engine, non-interference.
According to the site, they did the timing and pully on it, so if it is there...and I can get it, damn thing will go 70,000 miles before I have to do anything other than oil changes.
The 2.2L engines are fucking indestructible.
