I've gotta up the stakes in my ball python breeding. I am getting fairly established in the ball python circles, and I am getting a lot of customers and requests....but every day I see people popping up who have much nicer collections than I do, breeding much more expensive snakes...because they just dropped all their money on double and triple morphs and bred those together.
Meanwhile, here I am still breeding singles to singles and hoping for double morphs.
I need to get at least a triple morph male this season and have it ready for next season. It will help that my pastave male (pastel mojave) will be ready to breed, so I can breed him to some morph females and produce triple gene combos...but I need something else...and I need it to contain at least one gene I do not already have.
I am thinking a queen bee.
That is a spider pastel lesser platinum. 3 genes and sweet looking.
I will have to shop around and get one with size, ready to breed.
Gotta happen.
