Geez, did I ever have a stressful weekend.
Saturday I was planning on going to the Birmingham comic con. My plans were scuppered on Friday though when my car decided to die on me. I probably still could of gone but I had no portfolio prepared cos of said car dying and it was gonna cost 250 to fix it. So I wouldn't be of been able to spend any money anyways. So Saturday I just lazed all day. Kinda needed it though.
Sunday me and SeaLion hung out for the day. Played computer games. Went to Ikea. Their hotdogs are freaking awesome! Then went to see Dan Le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip in Bristol who were excellent. Was a really good day.
Today I had my car at the garage. Also had a job interview today. My car wasn't fixed in time so I had to wait for my folks to finish work and ask them nicely to take me. Which they did. Was pretty close though. Stressed me out a tad.
My interview attire:
I thought I looked okay to be honest. My 'tash seemed to impress.
The interview went okay. It was a trainee manager role at Lush in Bath. It was a group interview. I did pretty well at the interview but there was 4 people there who already work at Lush so it's doubtful I'll get it. Still it was good for me.
Been playing a lot of Fallout3 lately. It's really fucking good. I mean really good. I didn't appreciate it much when I first played it but I've been playing it loads lately. Up to level 17 now. Looking forward to New Vegas.
Havn't been drawing much lately. It's difficult sometimes to know whether I'm lacking inspiration or whether I'm just being plain lazy. I'm pretty sure right now it's laziness. Although I got job stuff on my mind so it's a bit tricky to focus.
I did draw this though:
It's a picture of a friend of mine. I havn't sent it to her yet cos I feel like it's lacking something. Dunno. Not sure what it is though.
So, things are going okay right now. I'm feeling a bit lazy but I'll get back drawing soon. Feeling more motivated and enthusiastic about job hunting.
There is one thing that's really pissed me off though.

That is all.

It was cool to hangout, we must do it again soon! More gaming, more pizza, more hotdogs, less clothing?
I very nearly went to university there ... loved the campus but the course wasn't quite for me.
