A few months back, at an open mic night, I read a list of my favourite things in life.
I think I have a new list, just for today.
Green tea
local beer
good (and I mean GOOD) sex
vegetables.
(I really fucking like vegetables)
sex with vegetables
hehe.. kidding.
I'm in this really weird situation right now wherein I've found someone who makes me very happy. I know I make him happy too, but we've agreed upon a non-exclusive dating situation (I'm also seeing someone else who makes me happy, to a lesser degree). Last night he was talking about how he's burning the candle at both ends by having three girlfriends and I told him it was okay, that I was leaving soon (I'm moving in 4.5 weeks) and that he would have more time to himself. He replied with "No way, babe! I'm going to be visiting you all the time!"
...I don't see the point in making our little situation a long-distance one. Why the fuck would I live in Montreal and have a boyfriend in Ottawa who has 2 other girlfriends who live in the same city as him? Sounds like heartbreak, cocked, locked and ready to fire.
Anywhore, my personal life (the life most people don't even realize I have) has been the best it's been in ages. Work is getting neglected a little bit, but let's face it... I hate my day job and I'm quitting in 4 weeks, Rockalily has become it's own entity, I don't have to constantly hype it up anymore AND my editor practically begged me to keep writing my column, so I've got a little leeway there. For the first time in months I actually have personal time! I had forgotten what it was like to lay in bed for hours, watching TV.
I'm also pretty sure my SG account is going to expire soon... not sure that I'll pay for another year. Time will tell.
end transmission

sorry to hear about the guy trouble. it does seem silly to have a long distance thing without someone who has other girls on the side too. it might be a good thing you are moving away so you can have a clean slate. hopefully you are not super attached to him.

Thanks. No, I'm not too attached. Although he is pretty swell, I'd rather leave the relationship behind when I move. He's got about a month to come to terms with my decision.
