I don't think I've ever been more excited for the weekend. This week has been one of the most trying, wearing weeks I've had in recent memory. Work has been exhausting, not necessarily in a bad way, but I've just been very busy. By the time I get home I have a few hours to do with as I please then I've gotta get ready to sleep and do it all over again. I'm still getting acclimated to my soundings here. Everything is so foreign to me. I definitely miss having a group of friends to go out with every weekend, but I suppose that will come in time.
I've already met a bunch of cool people from work and they took me out last weekend and showed me a good time. So far it seems like the overall attitude of the people that live here is pretty good. People are much more laid back here than what I'm used to.
I think most of all I miss having my own place. For those of you that don't know I moved back in with my folks until I can find a place of my own out here. It's been a difficult transition for more than one reason. I love my parents, don't get me wrong, but sometimes I just need some space. I miss being able to have the freedom to just bring people over, among other things. On the bright side, I'll be able to save up some money for a change which will be nice.
The weather here is another thing that's difficult to get used to. It's sunny one day and raining the next. I have a feeling the winter's here are going to kill me.
Well, I'm going to turn in for the night, I need to catch up on some rest.

but yeah, I get what you mean on the personal space... although, a big enough savings will solve a lot of your problems...
